Good day forum users. Can anyone help? Along with my good old 17" flat panel (no airport card) we have now got a shiny new iMac. Both are connected to the router via Ethernet. Is there any way I can use the new iMac to access the flat panel in order to use my address book and calender? Did not move any of the data across. Thanks in advance.

Hello, yes, there are many ways you could do it, does the new Mac have Firewire?

There's Migration Assistant for migrating a whole User over to the new Mac.

In Address Book you can Select All, then File>Export>vCard & move that whole file to the new one, or just File>Import vCards if they are on the same network doing File Sharing.

iCal has the same Export/Import functions.
