Extremely pixelated menu

I created a 2 layer Photo Shop document that is 1920 x 1080 at 300 dpi with photos and text. I've imported it into DVD Studio Pro - with the preferences set to SD DVD. I've burned the SD DVD with no glitches but when I play it, the menu is horrendously pixelated - type and photos. I tried to capture a screen shot to show, but Grab was unable to capture anything.

I know I must be missing a step somewhere, but can't seem to find the answer in the forum.

DVD SP does a really bad job of scaling graphics. You need to bring in graphics at the correct size. Photoshop has Presets that are at exactly the right size. In Photoshop, open a New File. When the dialog box opens, look through the choices for Presets and select the one that you need (NTSC or PAL, Widesreen or Standard, etc.)

BTW a SD DVD is 720x480 if you are using NTSC. DPI doesn't matter.
