Using m.google.com in Mail and Address Book

So, we have a Google Corporate account. We keep our Corporate domain and e-mail address names, and everything runs through Google... There is even iPhone settings that use m.google.com and sync Contacts, Mail, and Calendars.. Works great on the iphone.

But none of it works on the desktop apps...

Anyone know how to get the corporate version of gmail working in Mail, Address Book, and iCal NOT using IMAP? If i can set up the iPhone as an exchange client, why do the settings not work on the desktop apps?

For more information on how it works on the iPhone...:
