Mar 10, 2014 6:10 PM in response to Lawrence Finchby Nik_P,this is a forum. obviously posts can be made to this discussion because people still have this issue. Ok, dont check your server settings, because thats not a crucial part of sending and receiving emails. I guess it doesnt matter if your have the correct SMTP and IMAP or POP(3) account settings. I hope to god this isnt your day job.

Mar 11, 2014 5:16 AM in response to Nik_Pby Lawrence Finch,You have contributed NOTHING. The first page of the thread has the answer that you provided, but in much greater, more useful detail, in a place where people can actually find it.

Mar 11, 2014 11:08 AM in response to Lawrence Finchby Nik_P,Throw a random subject in the air like that really matters. But if in fact that was posted 3 1/2 years ago that means we were on what iOS 4 maybe 5?.. Now we are on iOS 7.1!!! Dont you think the features might've changed? moved around a bit?
I havent given much detail but arguably, you admitted I was in fact, right. I just didnt describe how to resolve it. Atleast you know to check your server settings though. what do I look like? your email provider? apple care? google? look up server settings for whatever email provider you have on their website and guarenteed you will find it.

Aug 5, 2015 9:46 AM in response to krystalmareeby partygirlstella,Go into the Outgoing (smtp) settings and re-type your email password there. This area doesn't update when you change your password, so you need to update it manually.
