Underline colors

Hi, is it possible in pages 09 to underline in a different color to the font colour?

Not by using the U-button. You can manually add lines or you can change the background color behind the letters.

Hi thanks for the suggestions. Manually adding lines would be much too time consuming. MS word can do this it seems. 😟

Yes, it is possible to underline in a different color that the text color in Pages. Use keyboard shortcut Command-T or Format:Font:Show Fonts. Select the text you wish to underline and, under the first icon (an underlined T) in the Font box, choose either single or double, then under the same icon, choose color. Then select the color you wish to use for the underline and apply it.

Thanks for posting that solution. Isn't it amazing how those menu items at the bottom of the list sometimes escape our notice? And of course, you have to be looking in the right place.

Hm, it seems that there are too much that aren't explored from by me. To my defense I have never had the need of coloured underlining. Good Thomas that you knew more!
