Migrating mail from Vista to Mac (Apple Mail) - again

Hi everybody,

two years ago I migrated a friend from Win XP & Oulook Express to Apple Mail via Thunderbird.

Now I will migrate someone else from Vista (he uses the original Vista mail client Windows Mail and not Outlook) to Apple Mail.

I am not at all familiar with Vista, so I don't know if I the path I used two years ago is still possible

How can I do this? Is the Thunderbird-way still possible? Is there any new software?

I searched in the forum and did not find any postings concerning this issue.
