How to enable cookies??

New to Mac and trying to register to an employment site but told that I need to enable cookies. Where could I find the cookie enabler?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

    Hi Cookie enablers (I do love that) are found in the preference setting of your internet browser - open preferences, click on security and you will see the option to enable cookies.

    don't enable cookies for 3rd party ..
