Problem Instalation Dell v305W - no drivers

Sorry, I don't know any other way for that printer.
Dell is a Windows-only company.

The answer to your question is in your next statement:

As Dell does not have Mac OS X drivers for that printer, the only thing you can do is to check the standard 3rd-party sites for drivers. Unfortunately most 3rd-party sites, such as Gutenprint <http://gutenprint.sourceforge.net/p SupportedPrinters.php> do not support Dell printers at all. You should know that most (but not all) Dell printers are really Lexmark printers rebranded. This means that if you can work out which Lexmark printer it is and if Lexmark has a driver for OS X for that printer then maybe the Lexmark driver will work, or, failing that, maybe one of the 3rd party sites will have a driver for the Lexmark which will work. Gutenprint does support a few Lexmark printers.

If you can't find 3rd-party or Lexmark drivers for that printer, you have a paperweight, as Dell will never support OS X. Period.

Although it sounds like a good idea, NO ONE has gotten Lexmark drivers to recognize Dell branded printers. Many suggest it, but no one has done it successfully (or, at least no one comes back to tell us!).

I think that you have a paperweight. Personally, I'd get a new printer. Faster, simpler.

Don't buy from Dell or Lexmark.

I think that a few guys got it to work way back about five-six years ago with a now-discontinued Dell based on the Z23. Other than that, ziltch. I don't have much hope that the OP will get it to work. He's got a paperweight.

I was just comparing feature sets and I think it is closest to the Lexmark Interact S605
