Compressor Issue

Good Morning All!

Newest issue with this application...

Compressor will not install correctly during setup, so it will not create H.264 proxies during ingest. I then set up the transcode settings to "Quicktime H.264 clip proxies" and when ingestion is "complete" error message says, "Encountered error submitting job to compressor."

I then went to open up compressor in my applications folder and it prompted me with, "compressor cannot be opened because of a problem.... you may need to reinstall application... be sure to install any available updates....blah blah."

I then went to Final cut server updates, and updated my pro tools, and FCServer itself. NOTHING.

any ideas?!
