Canon S90 Dates wrong in Aperture 2

Hello,

I'm having a problem with dates on photos from my Canon S90
I convert the CR2 files to DNG with Adobe DNG Converter and then import the DNG's to Aperture. (Aperture v2.1.4 doesn't support the S90)
When the shots get in to Aperture, the EXIF data reports the Image Date 9 hours earlier than the time in the CR2 file. (1 AM vs 10 AM)
I've checked the time zone options in Aperture's import dialog and they're correct.
I've looked at the time on the camera and it's correct.
I've looked at the time stamp on the .CR2 files and they're correct.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks!

G5 Quad / 4.5GB / Aperture 2.1.4, Mac OS X (10.4.8)
