Can You Do Green Screens In FCP?

Or do you need some program like After Effects. I mean taking something thats shot with a green screen and removing it.

Umm, yeah, we know what "greenscreen" means.
You apparently do not have your own copy of FCP or you would not be asking this question so we usually ask, "Why do you need to know?" That's because shooting for chromakeying is far more complicated than applying a chromakey filter to the footage. If you do not have superb lighting, superb green (or blue) and superb source footage, no filter will magically remove the green for you.
