Printing from Windows 7 In Virtual Machine

I can't connect to my Airport Express printer from Windows 7 running in Virtual Box. I have a Windows 7 Machine that connects properly using Bonjour. In the Virtual environment I have tried Bonjour, the regular Printer wizard and the Brother Printer software and none can see the printer on the network. I have a Brother printer connected to my network through the usb port on an Airport Express base station. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi,

In virtual environment, you can not connect to a network printer directly. You have to set up a printer in Virtual Box, only after this is done can you set up the printer in the guest operating system.

Optionally, you can install a PDF printer for windows, print to PDF, and then print the PDF off from Mac OS.

Hope this helps.

Gábor
