Windows live messenger on mac

Hi! Im new with macs so I dont really know them that much. I downloaded and installed windows live messenger to my computer. It would work just fine until I tried to talk to people who are online from a cell phone. It would just sign out and say there was a problem. Can somebody tell me what to do or what to download so it can work correctly? Thank you

Yes live messenger is really badly coded and it just does not work on mac's ..

Try [Adium|http://adium.im> instead

it's truly beautiful

Thank you! It is much better! although I cant do video calls! But it really is better

then you can try amsn ..it can do video but it's not nearly as good as adium imho

Hi,

You may want to use Mebeam or Tokbox

Both use Flash in a web browser.
I believe that Adium has gone down the route of linking in to MeBeam.

TokBox allows you to link in with your existing Buddy lists.

aMSN does Video pics but no Audio.

MSN will Video chat with Audio if you happen to be connected to an Window Communication server. Not so much badly coded, as incomplete.
