Will reinstalling itunes delete my library?

I had to clear space on hard drive and must have deleted something I shouldn't. Now I can't open Itunes without "Apple Application Support was not found. AAS is required." It directs me to uninstall and reinstall Itunes, but I fear I will lose my library.
