Permanently disable hyper-threading?

I Installed xcode just for the processor preference pane so that I could disable hyper-threading since Logic still is not updated to use the 2010 MBP's processor correctly. It definitely works better with hyper-threading disabled, but you have to disable it every time you reboot. Is there a way to disable hyper-threading permanently (at least until Logic is updated)?

MacBook Pro, Logic Studio, iPhone, Mac OS X (10.6.4)
