iTunes 10 can't find iPhone 4 or iPad after re-boot

iTunes doesn't find my iPhone or iPad. After reinstalling iTunes it did work. However, I've rebooting iTunes again can't find my devices (while iPhoto can).

Any suggestions?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.4), Core i5

Thanks JGG, removing "AppleMobileDeviceSupport.pkg" solved the problem

Where do I find AppleMobileDeviceSupport.pkg? I have the same problem, everytime i connect my iphone, i need to re-install itunes to connect my iPhone..
