The Sound Enhancer mystery.
Hi.
Can someone point me to the definitive explanation of what Sound Enhancer does?
I have read explanations ranging from 'a loudness button', equalizer, stereo widener, something like 'Arboretum's Realizer' etc etc. Definitions range from the simplistic to the overly technical.
Before someone says "just try it and if you don't like it turn it off" I have done that very thing. It's effect on tracks seems to vary and I can't fathom why. For that reason I have kept it turned off. But, like all of us, I want to maximise the potential of my iTunes.
Is there something I'm missing?
