Q: Memory / RAM upgrade
I have a PowerBook G4 15 inch,
1.33Ghz
512 MB DDR SDRAM
BUS speed 167
and I think 60 GB hard drive...
I want to upgrade it to make it as fast as I can, I clearly have little kowledge about computers, but I am fairly certain I can upgrade some stuff on here. What is the best way to upgrade my system? And is the only way to upgrade my 60 gb memory to buy a new hard drive?
Please don't laugh too much at my ignorance.
Cheers,

The modifications Dave has suggested (more RAM and a bigger, faster hard drive) are indeed the only upgrades you can apply to your Powerbook. If you can't afford a newer machine (new or used), those upgrades might be worthwhile as ways to prolong the usefulness of your PB as much as possible. You probably won't see any dramatic improvement in speed, though, unless you're in the habit of running several RAM-hungry applications simultaneously.
