Fellow Pages Users:

I was wondering if someone could help me with a minor issue in Pages.

How can I create a document with blank spaces which, when filled in, does not alter the rest of the page layout or paragraphs.

I can't think of an easier way to pose the question, but I hope the above makes sense.

Thanks for the help.

Read chapter 13 of *_Pages User Guide_*

You will learn that a good way to achieve your goal is to use text boxes.

    Hi Yvan,

Thanks for the help. I find that the text boxes are really messing up the format and they are really awful to move around to get the spacing right.

I shall read the chapter and see what it recommends.

Make the textboxes inline (not floating) with no text inset and you will find you can stretch them to fit whatever size you want.

Make sure you set your line spacing to exact.
