iPhone 4 Orange France

Hello, everybody.
Recently i bought an iPhone 4 for full price (729 euros) in one of the orange stores. As i read in the net, there is a a way to factory unlock this kind of phone by calling a client service, and asking them to do it.
Have anybody been through these procedure?
And how can i check my Orange account balance on the phone? )

You contact Orange in France. Based on French law, a cell phone can be sold in France as carrier locked but must also be sold as officially unlocked. If you requested and paid for an unlocked iPhone at the Orange store in France, your iPhone is already unlocked. If your iPhone is not unlocked, you need to contact Orange in France if you want the iPhone officially unlocked.

AT&T in the U.S. has an iPhone app that allows for checking minutes, data, and messages used, and for paying the monthly bill. If Orange doesn't have an app for the app store available with the app store in France, they should provide a way to check this via their website.

It's just that as i suppose i need to have the needed amount of money on my balance as a payment for the phone unlocking .
But i already spent some money during the phone calls to orange in roaming zone... So are there any kind of USSD-commands which allow me to check my orange balance?

Why didn't you purchase the iPhone as unlocked at the Orange store in France?

You should be able to check your balance for your Orange line/number and Orange account via Orange's website.

The iPhone is sold in France as carrier locked and as officially unlocked also which is required by French law. If you don't request an unlocked iPhone at an Orange shop, they will sell you an iPhone that is carrier locked with Orange.

Because i didn't buy personally.. I did ask to buy me an unlocked one, and that's what my friend asked sellers in the store.
