Facetime Won't work

When i first recieved my ipod 4g, i tried the facetime. It kepy on coming up with the network error message so upon reading other posts i went to my nearby apple store to verify my account. That worked. Im now at home and i cannot connect to anyone to use facetime. My internet connection works, i can go on the internet and there is no firewall either. What is wrong now??

Even if you "can go on the internet" with your computer at home and you can connect your iPod touch to another FaceTime device in the Apple Store, there may be other issues causing problems for your iPod touch at hour home location.

In particular, click Troubleshooting FaceTime calls in the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION section which, in part, contains:

• Ensure that each person has an active Wi-Fi connection.

• If you are using router, firewall, or security software that restricts Internet access, verify that
port forwarding is enabled.

• When calling someone on an iPod touch (4th generation), ensure that they have verified that
email address for use with FaceTime. In addition, they must be signed in to the FaceTime app
using the Apple ID associated with that email address.
