I have some folders in my NETWORK window which represent servers I used to connect to. I noticed when sniffing that my Mac is still trying to connect to them. I tried to delete them but when I dragged them to the trash, I got

Sorry, the operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occurred (Error code -61).

Hello Phil,

Error -61 is a write permissions error, which would indicate that the permissions for the items that you are trying to delete may be messed up and in need of repair.

If you do a "Get Info" (highlight folder, command + I) on one of the folders and click the triangle next to "Ownership and Permissions", what does it show in the pulldown menu next to "You can"?

Also, if you click on the triangle next to "Details", what does it show in the pulldown next to "Owner"?
