Can't Rearrange Ipod Playlist In Itunes 10!

I just upgraded to itunes 10 since the last version would not collaborate with my new 2nd generation square Ipod shuffle. One of the main differences I've noticed with this new version of itunes is that I can't seem to find a way to rearrange my ipod songs in my music playlist. I have "manually manage music" checked, but that's only allowing me to delete the songs directly from the music playlist. That tab/button thing on the far left that used to allow me to move songs around now only has an up arrow and a down arrow, which flips the order of my entire playlist. And the little checkmark button next to it only randomizes everything. I can't find a way to rearrange these songs and it's driving me absolutely bonkers! It shouldn't be this difficult and I've found NO help searching google, which is peculiar. Can anyone help?

I am experiencing the same issues as you. I am on an iMac and have an iPod Classic running software version 1.3.

Before updating with the latest iTunes update I have been able to grab songs in playlists I have created in iTunes as well as on my iPod and move them around in a different order. I am no longer able to do this inside iTunes or on my iPod. Watching the iTunes 10 video on the apple site, they show you are able to rearrange your songs by doing this. So why am I no longer able to do this?

What am I doing wrong? Is there a key I am suppose to hold while doing this? A preference to turn on? Or is this a bug?

Someone please help! We can't be the only two people out there frustrated with this issue!
