Movie rental problem

I've never done this before. How do I get a movie rental on my I-pod? I've already downloaded the movie from I-tunes. but when I synch my I-pod, I don't see it there. What am I doing wrong?

make sure you you have enough space on your ipod. I am new at this but I heard that movies on ipod are mp4 which uses more space.

I have an iPod video (5th generation classic). I have rented two movies that I downloaded to my Macbook, and would like to transfer to it so I can watch it on my TV. However, when I click on the "Movies" tab on my iPod (per the article you recommended), the two rented movies do not appear. So how can I transfer them to my iPod?
