iCal displays 'invalid file name then closes'

Sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere.

In an attempt to sync my the calendars on my two Macs I appear to have deleted or moved the location of the calendar from my Mac Book. I followed the instructions on http://mac-curious.com/2009/08/sync-ical-using-dropbox/ (see below)

mv ~/Library/Calendars ~/Dropbox/ then
ln -s ~/Dropbox/Calendars/ ~/Library/Calendars

Now when I open iCal I get a message 'invalid file name' then the application closes. I am also unable to see the any iCal files in Dropbox so I am unsure where they have gone. Does anyone know how to restore the iCal file to its original location so I can continue to add appointments to it? Do you have to reinstall Mac OS X to get the files back? Any assistance would be appreciated!

MacBookPro4,1, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Welcome to Apple Discussions,

Follow that same link you provided on how you setup your calendar to be shared using Drop Box. Go down the page to the comments section. You will see that the author of that page has included a comment on how to reverse the process. See the comment posted by "Admin" on "14 September 2010 - 9:48 am"

Hope that helps.
