About macbook pro 13 inch battery

It is best not to worry about such things. When the MacBook first came out, people would obsess over the CPU temperatures. With the new MacBook Pros, with their internal batteries, people obsess over battery health and load cycles.

my battery health is 83% and my load cycles are about 323 .

I use my laptop alot and i try as i much as i can to not leave my laptop connected to the charge when its full and i do calibrate it from while to while .

You seem to be using your machine on battery quite a bit. My MacBook Pro is about the same age and my battery health is 96% and my load cycles are 31. Of course, my machine is plugged in all the time. Also, until your post, I had never bothered to check my battery health or load cycles.

Your battery health seems fine. You cannot reduce the number of cycles. The cycle count goes up every time you discharge it. It will never go down until you replace the battery.

The following page lists the normal values for all notebooks. If you fall outside of this range, you might want to have the machine serviced while it is under warranty.

Eventually, all batteries need to be replaced. Apple charges a flat fee to replace the internal battery on the MacBook Pro.

why do you do that? i've had my macbook pro 13 mid 10 for 3 months, i only take it off the charger when i need to. i have 30 cycles on my battery.

Am taking your advices now but I still use my mac at the university so i run out of battery sometimes and my cylcles became 325 in 5 days? since i posted the thread

Use your battery when you must, and plug the computer into AC power when you can. Your life as a student may force you to use your battery more than some people would. If your battery doesn't last as long as some others, so be it: that's part of being a student. Our batteries are there to serve us, not the reverse.

If i got a new battery , Is there batteries as the original ones that handle up to 1000 cycles? Because I think I heard others saying that replacement batteries or when getting new batteries they wont give u the same as the original one?is that right?

No, it isn't. Apple will replace your battery with a new one just like the one you have.
