ooVoo does not load

I recently downloaded ooVoo from their website to give it a try instead of Skype. I downloaded the software and ran the installer. When I go to open ooVoo the icon bounces once or twice on the dock and then closes. I keep trying to open it and nothing happens. I have tried re-installing but that didn't do anything. Any ideas as to what's wrong?
