Q: Production Scan triggered, but doesn't create production

Hi,

I am having problem with Production Scan.
I thought it will be pretty easy, but like most things in FCS, it is not.

I set a Production Scan (according to Final Cut Server Workflow Example document on Apple website (btw, there is a couple of errors in the document) ):

I am using [0] as parameter for Title of Prodcution.
I set my MDSet, my Production Scan and my Response. That was easy and logical.
When I add file to folder that is scanned, this happens:

- Production Scan is triggered
- it creates asset in FCS, with my MDSet
*- but, it doesn't create Production !!!*

*No Error in Administrator/Log.*

I tried to change everything I thought could be related somehow to the problem (recursion, Scan Mode, etc.)

Still nothing.
Simply, it looks like something prevents it to create Production item.

Does anybody know what could be a problem ?
*Where to check what prevents FCS to create Production inside Production ?*

I am really sick of it ...

Thank you.

Your screenshot picture did not load.
Did you check your folder permissions?
It has to be something obvious.

BTW, why do you want to do production scan to begin with? I strongly believe that the best way to work with Final Cut Server is to cut the embryonal cord with the file system hierarchy and forget all those folder.
