Convert 360 degree photo to panoramio

I made some 360 degree photo's with my Sony Bloggie. I assumed that iPhoto (or iMove/Photoshop) could remap that picture to a rectangular panoramio photo, but until now I've been unsuccessful. Does somebody know if this is possible, and if not what the alternatives are (the PMB software on the Sony Bloggie is not Mac compatible).

iPhoto cannot make panoramas. Photoshop and Photoshop Elements can stitch multiple photos into a panorama. The function is called Photomerge.

In Photoshop CS4, choose File->Automate->Photomerge...

In Photoshop Elements 6, choose File->New->Photomerge Panorama...

The exact menu commands may differ in different versions. I'm giving you the menu path for what I have.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. If you don't have PS or PSE there are a number of applications that can stitch photos together for form a panorama view. Go to MacUpDate.com and do a search for "panorama" to get a list of possible candidates.

Thanks guys, but that's not my problem. I'm aware that photomerge can make a panoramio from 2 (or more individual photo's). I have one 360 angle photo (so it looks like a circle) and want to "cut" it to a rectangular shape.

that is not a feature of iPhoto - check with the people you did the "circle" photo - maybe they provide or know of software to "undo" this

Yes, they do have software to undo it but Sony's PMB program is not Mac compatible.
