How to Make My Voice Sound Deeper

I would like to make my voice sound deeper (older). I can achieve this easily by changing the pitch BUT it does not sound natural. It sounds like there is some reverb / synthetic.

If you can help me achieve this I'll seriously send you $20 through PayPal.

play with the vocal transformer effect, or AUPitch, both offer more controls then just pitch

I've literally just started using GarageBand today and cannot figure out where those settings/filters are located. Quickly searching Google and YouTube seem to be of little help. I have a Lynda.com subscription and plan to go over some of this later tomorrow but if you could tell me how to access these now that would be awesome.

In the Track Info Pane, click Details, then click one of the dropdown boxes (which probably read "None"), scroll down the list for all the AUs. Once you choose one, go all the way over to the right (past the box that probably reads "Manual") and click the little pencil icon to open the controls for the AU.
