I would like to import all of the entries in my company's LDAP directory into my Address Book so that I can use them when I am offline. I know I can't send e-mail when I'm offline, but I could still put the addresses into the e-mail that I'm composing, and then send them all when reconnect.
I can connect to my LDAP server just fine through Address Book, but I can't save all the contacts locally. I've tried importing, but those options are greyed out when I'm connected to the LDAP directory. I can search the LDAP, and drag and drop those contacts to a local group, but the search engine on Address Book requires two letters, and that would take forever to go through 26*26 combinations.
