Wireless Printer (Communication Error)

I am trying to print over my wireless network using a Canon MP560. It has worked before all the time. But in the past couple of days it hasn't. I tried to print, and it says queue paused. And under Job Info it says "A communication error has occurred". My other computers can print over the network but my can't. I don't know what's wrong.

Thanks

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.4), MacBook

There has been a number of Mac users reporting the same issue in this forum. Given that they were all working fine and then stopped I wonder if one of the recent Apple updates has contributed?

Anyway, I suggest you delete the current printer and scanner queues and then add both items again.

To delete the printer and scanner, open Print & Fax and select the MP560 in the Printers list. Then press the minus button under the list to remove it. Then do the same thing for the scanner.

With both items removed, with Print & Fax still open, click the + button under the Printer list to add. With the Default view selected the MP560 should be visible twice. The scanner component, shown as Bonjour Scanner, will be seen immediately. The printer component takes several seconds to appear and when it does it will show as 'canonijnetwork' in the Kind column. Select one and the Print Using menu will automatically select the correct driver. Click Add to complete the queue creation. Then select the other device (scanner or printer depending on which one you selected before) and add this also.

With both the printer and the scanner queue recreated try a print to see if the above process helps.
