Text messages don't actually get deleted

To all apple iPhone owners! Beware !! Apple iOS software stores every text message ever made on your phone.
You may think you've deleted them but there still there. I found out myself when I was using spotlight search to find something and noticed that some text conversations I made months ago were showing up!
These text messages were deleted a long time ago or so I thought.
When I contacted apple customer support, they told me the only way to permanent remove all text messages and ooh yes also emails , is to do a master reset, or restore to factory setting on iTunes. This intern removes all data from your phone. The downside to this is all your contacts , apps, and settings are erased. You also can't backup from previous because then it puts it back in ur phone. I know I have done it.

How do I find a deleted text? I didn't want my dad to see these texts because he would tease me about it but I really want the text so I can reread them

Hey there trabazo,

It sounds like you have accidentally deleted some messages from the Messages app and wish to restore them. If you have a back up of your device in iCloud, you can try restoring from a previous backup with the following article:

iCloud: Restore your iOS device from iCloud

https://support.apple.com/kb/ph12521

Keep in mind that any new content on your device from after the date of the backup will be lost, so you may want to back up to either iCloud or iTunes first.

Choosing an iOS backup method (Should I use iTunes or iCloud to back up my iOS device?)

I’m using an iPhone 6s running iOS 9.3.5. I cannot find my deleted messages with the search feature. However, many tools like this to claim to recover deleted messages even if no iCloud or iTunes backup was created. I don’t know whether they would work as advised or not, but keeping my information private and protected has always been a top concern when I’m choosing my mobile phone. Is there any way to make the deleted data unrecoverable?

SMS/MMS are not synced with an application on your computer or included with the iTunes sync process in any way except for being included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process. The data included with the iPhone's backup is not stored in your iTunes library. This link provides the data on your iPhone that is included with your iPhone's backup.

If you have no backup, you still have a chance to recover your data like messages, photos or contacts from your iPhone without backup.

You need a program which can identify iOS system and scan your lost data.

See it on Facebook:

I don’t have any iTunes and iCloud backup of the lost text messages so that I have to use a third app. There are so many apps that claims to recover deleted text messages and other files from iOS devices for me to choose from, however, most of them cannot get the found text messages back to the device except this one: http://retrievedeletedtextmessageiphone.aolor.com/
