You may as well forget Flash, and be glad for it. Flash is bad news, it is a resource hog, and all those other phones are having trouble with it, and not all of them have it yet.
Adobe would have to do a complete re-write of Flash to even stand a chance, but by then HTML5 will have passed Flash by - it's happening now, and at an accelerated pace.
I have Flash on nothing, and if I hit a page where I need it, and that is rare, I just read the text and move along. I have PeeCee's, several Macs, a couple of Linux boxes, etc, and I get by just fine. I rarely ever need Flash, and don't miss it.
It’s the fact that others know that it does not support it so naturally when one shows off (unintentionally you understand cough) one hates to admit that it cannot view certain file extension types.
I found my droid x had a firmawar update last night while I was at the bar after bowling with friends.
I decided to download it, and it was 2.3, and then adobe flash 10.1 was in my market place... I almost had a heart attack lol.
Long story short, it was very cool to be able to finally check the sports highlight videos and the weather for the next morning, which usually on bowling night I have to come home and check it on pc before bed.
I really thought it was so cool to be able to just go watch my news and weather and sports highlights while still at the bar, we were able to talk about the weather forecast and the sports highlights at the bar, when normally I would have to wait till work in the morning to talk with anyone about that stuff.
It's too bad there are still a lot of sites that I go to that still support flash and a lot of them are in the music industry. Ie. Instrument mfgs, recording equipment mfgs, musicians/bands, and other music industry types. It's kind of hard dragging these people into the 21st century.
