Months ago I changed my contact email address for my Apple ID. Today I received an email from Apple Customer Support saying that I need to verify that this email address belongs to me. This seemed strange to me both because it has been so long since I made the change and because the email was sent to my new address rather than to my old address.

Anyway I clicked on the Verify Now link and was asked to log in to my account. I tried once with what I believe to be the right password and was told that it was wrong so I tried again with the only other password that it could possibly be and was told "This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons" in red with a big red exclaimation mark next to my ID.

So now I don't know what to do or who to call to get out of this mess. Please help.
