How do I upgrade my "expired" boot camp beta?

I haven't used bootcamp... ever... since getting my mac 2-3 years ago. Recently, I've had cause to want make a windows xp partition, but when I install and start Boot Camp Assistant, it says Boot Camp 1.3 beta is expired, so I try to upgrade to 2.0 or 3.0, but the update is a windows file, making it quite difficult to upgrade.

How do I get Bootcamp on my computer again?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Hi and welcome to Discussions,

with OSX 10.5 Leopard BootCamp became a part of OSX.
So if you have OSX 10.5.8 installed on your Mac (as your signature states) then the BootCamp Assistant (in the Applications/Utilities folder in OSX) should be updated as well to the non-Beta version.
If you are still running OSX Tiger on your Mac, then you have to install/upgrade to OSX Leopard to use BootCamp.

Furthermore the OSX 10.5 Leopard Install DVD you have contains the 2.x version of the BootCamp Windows Driver package.
Once you have Windows installed with the BootCamp Assistant you should insert the DVD while in WIndows and the Driver Setup usually starts then automatically.

Regards

Stefan
