Q: XSAN LDAP querying for quotas

Hi,
I have written some VBScripts for when our Windows clients logon which query the OD Masters LDAP to get the home directory and it converts it into a UNC path to map for Windows users.
Now I want to query what the XSAN quotas are and how much space is left for the user as they logon and display this as a message box.
I cannot find this information in the OD Masters directory, I can see a 'apple-user-homequota' entry but the XSAN quota entries are not present.
Is this information somewhere in the OD master or should I be querying one of the metadata controllers instead? Also would anyone know what the ldap entries are called?
Thanks
Paul

I have read on another website forum with XSAN discussion threads that it is not possible to query the LDAP for XSAN quotas. The quota values are kept in a metadata controller file which is not searchable remotely.

I wanted to write a little app which Windows clients could use to determine their quota and free space so I've worked it out by getting the quota value by LDAP set via workgroup Manager in OD and subtracting the Windows explorer freespace environment value. It isn't pretty but it works.
