Video Missing After Memory Full and Phone Unable to Take Photos

I have an 8 gigabyte iPhone 3G with a the Video Genius App that allows me to film video. While the quality isn't the best, the audio sounds quite good and during a concert recently I began filming some video. After a while, I got a warning saying my memory was full and I'd need to delete some pictures. I did and continued filming probably filming 8-10 videos with no additional warnings.

When I got home and synced it with my MacBook, I had only 1 video on my phone and it wasn't the 1st video or the last video I filmed. When I start the sync process and iPhoto opens it only had the 1 video and 2 photos. My question is where did the videos go? My iPhone has the latest OS available.
Could the videos be hidden in a file somewhere inside the phone?

Macbook 13.3 Unibody, Mac OS X (10.6.4), 2.4ghz 320gb 4gb RAM
