Prevent Pressure Damage to the Screen

My MBP recently died (thankfully under AppleCare extended) and when I sent it in the depot made a big deal about pressure spots on the screen. They had claimed that since there where pressure spots on the screen they would not fix any part of my Mac but they have at this point agreed to bring it back to working condition.

When I get it back (whenever that will be been two weeks with out a laptop in college so far) is their anything I can place my Mac in all the time or at least when traveling and in my bag to prevent these pressure spots forming on the screen which cause the color in spots to be imbalanced?

I guess I am looking for a case or cover that might help? What advice does the community have?

Macbook Pro 13" Mid 2009, Mac OS X (10.6.4), Ipod Nano(1,2,3,4,5), Mini(1,2), Shuffle(1), and Touch(1,2,3)

The only way to avoid pressure spots is to avoid putting pressure on the computer. Don't pile things on top of it. Don't lean back against it when it's in a backpack. Don't tighten the backpack straps so as to pull it against the curve of your back when you lean forward. Don't jam it into an overfull backpack or briefcase, or jam one more book into a backpack or briefcase that contains the MBP. Exercise common sense and reasonable caution.
