Not receiving App store/ iTunes e-mail receipts for purchases anymore.

I'm not sure how long this has been happening but I realized the other day that I haven't been receiving any App store or iTunes e-mail receipts from purchases I've made. I used to get them, even from the free apps. I know a couple other people who've noticed this as well. Am I missing something? Insight into this is appreciated. Thanks.

This is quoted from an email, from iTunes support, in response to the same question:

I see that you are concerned you are no longer receiving iTunes Store receipts for free purchases. I understand your concern and I would be happy to provide you with more information regarding this matter.
The iTunes Store will no longer be providing email receipts for free content. This content includes:
-Single of the week
-Discovery Downloads (the other free song we have every week)
-Free apps
-Content specific code redemptions
-Free TV episodes
-App re-downloads
-App updates
Please note, however, these items will still appear in your account's purchase history.
You may review your iTunes Store account's purchase history by following the steps in this article:

Thanks for the reply. I understand not getting receipts for the items listed in your quote but I have also not received a receipt for my paid items. Thanks

Never mind. I just received an email receipt for my recent purchases. I guess it's still available for purchased items. Just not free or upgraded apps. Thanks

The speed of these emails varies alot. I am not surprised if I don't get one until several days after the purchase, though sometimes they come same day!
