ATI Radeon HD 5870 Graphics Upgrade Kit for Mac Pro (Mid 2010 or Early 2009

I've been looking hard and honestly i think it's discontinued. apple kept telling every store that orders were delayed, up untl last week i think apple told every store i contacted that they will not be getting any. I'm sure you noticed by now all the stores you were watching all of a sudden unlisted product or posted discontinued notices. I honestly believe apple under estimated the cards value and sold out quick. ati didn't supply any re-stock. I also very much doubt ati will be making more, the 5000 series near it's product life end, its been out for a year almost windows side, with the highest end card being 5890 and next gen being focus now. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. ATI is in the middle of rebranding. all future cards will be AMD and the "ati" brand name will be retired for good. here's hoping nvidia puts out something better soon and it has a kit, and it still runs in 2008 mac pros ( don't see why it wouldnt)
