List Views Left Expanded By Users

We are running Mac OS X Server 10.5. Users are constantly leaving the folder list views expanded, which creates a number of issues, not the least of which is it takes longer to get the initial directories, and just plain looks bad.

Is there a setting available to tell the server not to remember when a user expands the list view and leaves it open?
