Will an iPhone 4G case work on the new iPod 4G? Case recommendations?

Will an iPhone 4G case work on the new iPod touch 4th gen? I really like the one I have for my 2g iPod touch, but the company that makes them does not carry cases for iPod touch 4g yet. They do have them for iPhone 4g. If it doesn't work, does anyone have any case that they recommend using on their iPod?

I doubt an iPhone 4G case will work well since the iPhone is thicker and the iPod has curved/sloping back while the iPhone back is flat. If you Google for case for ipod tough 4g you will find many choices.

Many of the major case makers havent released cases for the iPod touch 4G yet. However, until they do, i found a website called handhelditems.com where they have some hard rubber cases for about $10. These will protect your new iPod touch 4G pretty well until more cases are released. I would expect them to start showing up within a month.
you can also preorder some from Griffin, a very well trusted iPod case maker, but i would get a cheap one and wait it out for just a little bit
