Removing duplicate project from iMovie library

Somehow I've created two almost identical iMovie projects. Both projects appear in my iMovie project list. How do I remove one of these projects from the iMovie library project list? If I remove (i.e., delete) a project from the iMovie library, will I loose the photos I used in the project from my iPhoto library? Any help you can provide in answering these questions will be appreciated.

You can delete a project by right-cicking on the project title in the Project Library List view and selecting Delete or Move to trash ( I can't remember which it is)

A project file is generally very small. It is a hexadecimal text file that contains references to video clips (in Events), photos (usually in iPhoto), music (usually in iTunes, text for titles, location for transitions, etc.

The actual video is kept in the Event file. You will not lose any video or photos by deleting a project.
