Slow load on EXS Orchestral Instruments

It seems to be random, but most of the voice (choir) instruments take 3-5 minutes to load and some of the organ instruments are doing the same thing.
The rest load lickety split.
I've done a fresh install of osx, logic, tried to install jam packs again, repaired permissions twice, removed .pref files twice.
They all load just fine on my 2007 mbp and 2009 mac pro, but my brand, spanking new imac i7 has problems.
Can anyone PLEASE help me. I am about to throw my iMac into the toilet. An unflushed toilet.
