Linking iPod touch Keynote Remote app to Keynote

I just bought an iPod Touch and was able to link it to Keynote as a remote at my home and another home. When I come to the school where I teach, the iPod Touch will not connect and my MacBook won't recognize the iPod touch in the Keynote Preferences. They are on the same WiFi network so I have no idea what would be the problem. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you have paid 99 C to acquire the software which will permit you to control Keynote from iPod Touch.
Here is your answer (honed after much struggle).
1. When you start Mac, click on Airport and Create Network.
2. Enter a name say -TIMMY.
3. Close it.
4. Open Keynote and bring in the file you want to show.
5. Go to your iPod Touch.
6. Click on SETTINGS.
7. Press on WI-FI setting.
8. It should show TIMMY. If not press on Other. It will show TIMMY. If it does not, go back to 6 and 7 until it shows TIMMY. Once you find it, press it. Now you are linked.
9. Go to Keynote and press it. It should connect you to presentation.
10. Many times it will not show (I have experienced it numerous times). Do not panic. Go to step 7 and repeat to 9. Most likely, in second attempt it will pick it up (Sometimes it takes time).
11. This always works. I have stooped trying the method recommended by Apple.
12. Make sure that your iPod is fully charged. I use a lot of transitions and video clips. It uses up a lot of power.
13. This is a gift from GOD. I walk around in my class with iPod Touch and like magic move from line to line, slide to slide. Best of all, I know what is coming next.
Good luck
