Keychain Access From iPad

Just started using an iPad. If anyone has a solution in obtaining Keychain access while surfing on the iPad please offer your comments. Any help is much appreciated.

I strongly suggest you do NOT install 1Password. You'll have to manually enter every password from keychain. Also, It's a monthly subscription and keychain is free. If you use safari generated passwords, you will likely not need any further security, but that's just my opinion. It's also tricky to remember whether you are signing into your Apple ID or into 1Password. They are different.

Thanks for the alternative to trying a means to get keychain into the iPad. Will give 1Password a try if can't get the keychain working.

you do not have the same keychain program on iPad that exists in OSX. And it cannot be shared across the devices as far as I know. The individual apps have some control over remembering passwords etc... and there are a number of apps, one previously mentioned by another poster, that can be used to store passwords and links.

i use one called password wallet. Just the one i found one day and it seems to do everything i need it to.

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5813 is the FAQ for iCloud Keychain. It does require OS X 10.9 (Mavericks), and iOS 7 on the iPad.

Hi I struggled with this a little too. It only works in Safari by the way, so long as you have followed the advice above and have passwords enabled in settings. As soon as you tap in the email/login screen and your keyboard pops up. You should see AutoFill password, tap that and away you go.
