Q: TV Show Sorting

Does anyone else have a problem with the new TV Show sorting? I have a bunch of TV shows in iTunes and my Apple TV is treating each individual season as a separate show (and then it doesn't even list them in order). I've had the 1st generation ATV forever and the sorting has always worked fine. Is this a bug, am I missing something, or is this just the new "organization" system?

I'm having this problem since the update as well. However, I'm not using ATV, only using my iPad. All of this change has happened after updating the iPad and the iTunes... Supremely annoying.  I hope this is taken care of ASAP.

All of my episodes are being sorted as a "show" (individually, instead of grouped under the show's title.)

Very bothersome when you have a lot of shows........

    C'mon Apple. Help us out!

I can confirm that the issue also occured in Apple TV 3G as well... However, software update just let me know that iTunes 10.6.1 was available... I can confirm that after the iTunes update my Apple TV is now back to sorting my Movies and TV shows alphabetically!

iTunes 10.6.1 provides a number of improvements, including:

    • Fixes several issues that may cause iTunes to unexpectedly quit while playing videos, changing artwork size in Grid view, and syncing photos to devices.

    • Addresses an issue where some iTunes interface elements are incorrectly described by VoiceOver and WindowEyes.

    • Fixes a problem where iTunes may become unresponsive while syncing iPod nano or iPod shuffle.

    • Resolves an ordering problem while browsing TV episodes in your iTunes library on Apple TV.

Good job Apple, this bug pretty much made TV shows useless on my ATV 2 with m video library.

It has returned, tv shows not sorted properly in atv3 or remote or frontrow.

We have now also lost the auto switching feature for Dolby digital output from the atv3.

I am getting really annoyed with my apple products now, you pay top money for a good product only for apple to break it with pointless updates, thinking of chucking the lot in now and going back to recordable DVDs, iTunes with atv3 is not a workable media solution anymore.

I'm having a similar issue with regards to the episode number order for a "Complete My Season" purchase on my Videos App.

Of a 6 episode series they all seem to be showing in the correct order apart from Episode 2 which is showing below Episode 6.

Please note that Episodes 1 and 2 were bought a number of months ago and Episodes 3-6 were bought recently as part of the "Complete My Series" function.

They appear fine on iTunes on the computer and I have also tried updating the "Get Info" on each episode in the series but when you go to the App they are out of order.

Has anyone else had this as a problem?
