FCP and Ikegami GFCam

It's just another MXF format, and will work. This may make it easier, though.

There's gotta be a better way than third party solutions. I just googled that camera and got:

So I wonder, does it record direct to Quicktime? I have no experience with that camera, but it should have direct FCP access.

I used media from this camera last week. On the card were .mov files so no need to use 3rd party plug in to unwrap the mxf files. Just used the xdcam files and transcoded them to pro res as that was what the rest of my footage was. FCP worked better this way than using the xdcam natively in the sequence.
