If you have a WD drive that is working properly otherwise, ignore the messages and consider yourself lucky. WD drives are notorious for problems with Mac.

WDDriveManager sounds like backup software. I'd first disconnect any external drives and devices and see if things are stable with only the mouse and keyboard attached.

Look in "Log-in Items" in System Preferences > Accounts to see if WDDrive Manage is loading at startup.

This would likely be showing up in Activity, but you probably need to change the AM default of "Show: My Processes" to "Show: All Processes."

I disconnected everything as stated. - No change

Yes, the WD Drive manager is a startup item - tWD Drive manager, this controls the cosmetics on the drive, the lights, buttons etc.

Changed AM to show all processes. It shows up.

My question is why is this item showing "seagate" ????????

I have this seagate.Plist in my Launch itemS or Launch Daemon. What would happen if I deleted it.
    I have no Seagate Drives.
    Thanks again

    How about your internal drive?
    Look in System Profiler.

Did you ever have one? Install any software?
    Just Delete it.

Deleting the seagate thing worked, But now this took it's place.

I seem to have a little problem with the WD Drive Manager attempting to do something.

    Need a little help.

you had those right from the start - remove the wd software & they go away, yes?.
  • JRCorv Level 1 Level 1 (0 points)
Yes, when I deleted the WD Drive Manager Menu Bar App. Form startup items.
    I went away.
